The Feeling
Twelve Stops and Home (2006)

This time 6 months ago I had never heard of this amazing band. Now, I can’t get enough of them.

Recently, I found out the first song to be released (on limited sale) was ‘Fill My Little World’ however, the song that introduced me to The Feeling was ‘Sewn’. Admittedly, I did think that this track was recorded by another artist (who I shall not name), even so, I fell for it straight away just like the rest of the album. Throughout Twelve Stops and Home you are faced with a mixture of songs, all with different meanings reflecting the heart felt entries that have gone into the album. A prime example being ‘Sewn’.

Now, most people only know The Feeling because of ‘Sewn’ but, if you listen to the album, you will definitely find a song or two that take your preference. The opening track, ‘I Want You Now’ is an upbeat song which you cannot help but sing along to. However, my ultimate favourite song on the album has to be ‘Anyone’. I don’t know why, but I instantly took a liking to it. Front man, Dan Gillespie Sells, sounds extremely passionate and really works the song. I’d love to see it is released.

If I could, I would tell everyone who loves any of the songs by The Feeling to get the album. Twelve Stops and Home is a classy little album which has an extremely varied content. In my opinion, no two songs resemble one another, a great selling point of this excellent album.
